Air France UM ECO

Air France is the national French flag carrier. And now we are flying them for the first time. We will have two Flights, one short-haul and one long-haul, so you know what to expect. The first flight, PUF-CDG, and the second, CDG-BKK, and now let's get into it. In between them, a stopover in the UM lounge.First flight.

PUF-CDG

We were served drinks and snacks after takeoff. There was a 2-2 configuration with 26 six rows(104 passengers max)

The lounge

The lounge was one of the best lounges I've been to; it had everything: a sleeping room, a kitchen, a games room, and even a living room. The game room had 3 PS4s, a TV, and a fussball table. The kitchen had snacks, meals drinks. And the living room has comfy spots and a TV.

The Long Haul Flight

Boarding was quick at CDG was busy as usual. It was a long hour before take off on 777-300ER, and off we were on are way to Bangkok. We were served lunch. The lunch was the best I ever had (on a flight). The in-flight entertainment was great, they had Bundesliga, Formula 1, and even more sports. There were plenty of games, TV shows, and lots more. Breakfast was in a box with a milk-like drink, orange juice, and a small sandwich.

Air France Premium ECONOMY

PUF-CDG

The Pau airport was smooth, and at the gate, they were kind. Straight after take off, they served us food and drinks. On arrival, they told us the outdoor weather.

CDG-IAH

The crew greets you hello. One  hour after take off, they serve  us the meals and drinks. You have a choice for the meals. They give you the time to eat. In economy class they barely leave any light and on premium and business  they leave the french colored lights on the roof. There is also in flight entertainment was great. The seats recline up to 50% flat and there is also a leg rest.

The Flight

After check in we went  threw security  then we went to the gate.We were the first on board the 777-300ER .The flight was delay by a long hour in Paris in the mean time I explored the entertainment system ORXY ONE it was good but there were better  Hollywood and plenty more the games were okay there was a airline classic Angry birds of course. The Tv section was good.

The Airport

Then we landed in Doha with an ocean view. When we entered the airport was jaw-dropping. It was like a massive shopping mall. There was a massive shopping mall with a giant teddy bear, a train system above the airport, and there were all  sorts of stores, Harrods  and many others, and Harrods was right in front of our next stop, the UM  lounge

The UM lounge

The UM lounge is only accessible with a special card .The lounge was great  there was a tv sofa's table and snacks but not much of a choice. On the tv the cartoons were in Qatari but other then that it was amazing.

The flight to CDG

When they called our flight, and the flight number. We headed to the gate and boarded the aircraft. Then we took off and we were on our way to Paris. We had great meals (pasta) with a side of a window seat, but the entertainment was not working on our flight (probably won't happen on yours). The seat was comfy, made of a cloth-like material, and that's it.

Air France Airline Review

Pau-Paris (PUF-CDG)
The plane model was an Embraer 190, and I was the second person to board the plane. The pilot said, “We will take off in 20 min,” and we took off 30 minutes late because of the weather. The take off was rough like usual (the runway is only 2,500 m long). The flight attendants was very nice. They served us very quickly because the fight was only 1h and 30 minutes long. The landing was soft, but the braking is another story. It was very rough.

Paris-San Francisco (CDG-SFO)
The plane model is a Boeing 777-300ER, and I flew in
business class. The pilot was saying “Bonjour, mesdames et
messieurs nous allons décoller dans 20 min” and then five
minutes later “mesdames et messieurs nous allons décoller
dans 30 min” .Just before taking off, the flight attendants
served us some wipes for our hands, drinks, and of course the
“trousse air france”. But the take off was not bad, but
smooth. The flight is about 11 hours and 30 minutes to
SFO. They served us lunch, then they turned off the light so
people could sleep. Then they turn the lights back on to serve
breakfast (in my opinion, the breakfast in business class is
very good). A flight attendant brought us to the kitchen to
show us a better view of California. The landing was rought but
could have been way much worse.

This flight is on Thai Airways, the national flag carrier of Thailand. With their hub in Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport  (BKK). Thai Airways was founded in 1961 and refounded in 1988. The airline operates 77-85 (mix of Airbus and Boeing). They are also one of the 5 founding members of the Star Alliance  ( SAS was one of the founders, but they left and joined   SkyTeam). This flight is reviewed as a UM flight. The flight leaves at 1 pm, so you can have connections.

The Flight CDG-BKK

At the CDG airport, it went fast. The check-in and the boarding were good and quick. We were the first onboard. After we were seated, the rest of the passengers started boarding. The legroom was great. The entertainment was good. There was a vast selection of TV shows and movies. There was a kids' section, but it didn't work. But the service was outstanding. Every hour or so, they would come to us with snacks, such as cakes. For most of the flight, I was watching the entertainment. For the last hour or so, they upgraded us to first class, then they gave us a drink. Then once we landed, there were no problems.

We arrived at the airport and went straight to the check-in at the check-in desk, where they were also really kind. We went throw security and to the one gate. We boarded the flight, which is a one-and-a-half-hour flight on the Embraer 190. Half an hour after takeoff, we got served drinks and snacks. I took a Coke Zero and biscuits. The options was coke zero, coke, orange juice, apple juice and water for snack we had the option in bee tween biscuits (sweet option) or mini flutes (salted option) and then they announced our initial decent at 20;11 (our flight left at 19:25 from Pau) they said we would land in 20 minutes early. They also announced the weather in Paris. We arrived in Paris CDG at terminal 2F.

Delta airlines

SJC - ATL

At the San Jose (CA) airport, it went fast. The check-in and the boarding were good and quick. When you enter the plane GO ASK THE PILOT OR THE FLIGHT ATTENDANTS FOR TRADING CARD(S) WHEN YOU ENTER THE PLANE (picture on the right). The takeoff was rough, but there was no turbulence during part of the flight. The time of the flight is 4h35. Then the staff served us drinks and snacks. The end of the flight was terrible!!!!!!! In Atlanta, there was a big storm, so the Atlanta airport did not receive any more flights until the storm cleared. So this added an extra 1h to our flight. At least we landed safely. Also, we ran out of fuel, so it was even more stressful.

Southwest Airlines

SJC - HOU

First of all Southwest is a very good low-cost airline. They only have 737 that fly actually. The staff is very friendly and attentive. During the takeoff it is like if you we taking off strait because the runway is only 3,353 meters. After the takeoff they let you rest and then at mid flight they serve you snacks and drinks. They serve you pretzels and water or other drinks. The descent was smooth and the landing was perfect.
